Summer at the Center 2020 - March Edition
Over the past 29 years, more than 900 students have completed the Summer at the Center program, developing the skills and confidence to overcome adversity, build self-esteem, and put them on paths to a more positive future by engaging with the creative process. In March of 2021, Segerstrom Center for the Arts adapted Summer at the Center’s usual two-week, immersive rehearsal process to a one-week, virtual program, held over Zoom. We captured the entirety of the students' journey and in this short film, you will bear witness to the transformational power of the arts through the words and performances of the cast of this unique virtual Summer at the Center.
